The rules that apply when you use ServEaseHub.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
ServEaseHub is a marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers. A customer's relationship with the platform is quite different from a provider's, so these terms are split into two parts below. Using ServEaseHub in either role means you agree to the terms that apply to that role.
For CustomersFor Service Providers
For Customers
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ServEaseHub, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Account & sign-in
You can create an account with an email and password, or continue with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information — a false name, phone number, or address can delay or prevent a provider from reaching you.
3. Bookings
A booking is only confirmed once the provider accepts it — until then it's a request. Providers set their own prices, service duration, and working hours; availability shown in the app reflects the provider's own schedule.
4. Emergency bookings
Emergency requests still require the provider to accept before someone is on the way — response time depends on real-time provider availability, not a guaranteed number of minutes. If you pay by card for an emergency booking, the full amount is charged upfront (not the deposit used for regular bookings), since the service starts immediately.
5. Payments
Card payments are processed securely through Stripe in Pakistani Rupees (PKR); we never see or store your full card number. For a regular (non-emergency) card booking, a 20% deposit is charged when you book and the remaining 80% is automatically charged to the same card once the booking's scheduled time arrives. Cash on Service means you pay the provider directly after the job is done. Your payment is held by the platform and only released to the provider after the service, giving you recourse if something goes wrong.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel a booking from the app. Cancelling well before the scheduled time is refunded in full; cancelling close to it (see the cancellation window shown at checkout) incurs a fee, and any refund due is processed back to your original payment method. If a provider doesn't show up within the grace period after the scheduled time, you can cancel for a full refund.
7. Referral points & rewards
You earn points for actions like completing your profile, referring friends who sign up with your code, and completing bookings. Points unlock discount tiers on future bookings. Points have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold, or redeemed for money.
8. Chat with providers
In-app chat is for coordinating your booking. Sharing personal contact details (phone numbers, external app handles, etc.) in chat is restricted to keep the marketplace and its escrow protection meaningful — repeated attempts may lead to account suspension.
9. Disputes
If something goes wrong with a booking, you can raise a dispute from the app with evidence (photos, description). Our admin team reviews evidence from both sides and makes a decision, including any refund or compensation, typically within 48 hours.
10. Notifications
We send booking, payment, and account updates via in-app/push notifications and, where relevant, email. You can manage notification permissions from your device settings.
11. Prohibited use
You may not use ServEaseHub for illegal activity, harassment of providers or other users, posting false reviews, or attempting to circumvent the platform's payment or contact-sharing protections.
12. Our role
ServEaseHub is a marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers. Providers are not our employees, and we don't control how they perform a service — but we do facilitate escrow payments, review evidence in disputes, and can suspend accounts that violate these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continuing to use ServEaseHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
For Service Providers
1. Acceptance of terms
By registering as a service provider on ServEaseHub, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app as a provider.
2. Account verification
A new provider account is reviewed by our admin team — including your business details and submitted documents (CNIC, business registration, a live selfie) — before you can go live. Your account status is either pending, active, or rejected with a reason; you may re-apply after addressing the issue.
3. Listing services
Each service you add is reviewed by admin before it appears to customers. You set your own prices, duration, and whether a service is available 24/7 as an emergency service. Keep your business profile, working hours, and service details accurate — customers book based on what's shown.
4. Bookings & responding
You must actively accept or decline booking requests — a booking is not confirmed to the customer until you accept it. For emergency requests, aim to accept and respond promptly; how quickly you typically respond is part of what makes your listing useful to customers needing urgent help.
5. Completing a job & starting late
Start a job once you arrive and are ready to begin. If you haven't started within the grace period after the scheduled time, the customer may cancel for a full refund and your account receives a red flag — repeated red flags can affect your standing on the platform.
6. Payments & escrow
Customer payments are held by the platform, not paid to you directly, until the job is marked complete and admin releases the funds — this protects both sides if a dispute comes up. For Cash on Service bookings, you collect payment directly from the customer, but you still owe the platform its commission on that booking.
7. Platform commission & wallet
ServEaseHub takes a commission on completed bookings. For card bookings, commission is deducted automatically when payment is released to you. For Cash on Service bookings, the commission accrues as a due balance in your Wallet, which you pay off from the app — an unpaid balance can affect your account standing.
8. Payouts
Released earnings are paid out to the payout method you've added (bank, JazzCash, or Easypaisa) — there is currently no automatic instant payout; releases are actioned by our team.
9. Referral points & rewards
You earn points for actions like completing your profile and completing bookings. Unlike customer points (which unlock discounts), your points can be redeemed to reduce your platform commission for a period, or to feature one of your services for greater visibility. Points have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold, or redeemed for money.
10. Featured listings
You can pay (with points or by card) to feature a service so it appears higher in search and in the Featured section, for a fixed period. This is a visibility boost only — it doesn't guarantee bookings.
11. Chat with customers
In-app chat is for coordinating a booking. Sharing personal contact details (phone numbers, external app handles, etc.) in chat is restricted to protect the escrow/dispute process for both sides — repeated attempts may lead to account suspension.
12. Cancellations & disputes
A customer may cancel a booking, subject to the cancellation window shown at checkout; a late cancellation triggers a compensation process reviewed by admin. If a customer raises a dispute, you'll be notified and can respond with evidence within the review window — admin makes the final call on refunds or compensation.
13. Notifications
We send booking, payment, and account updates via in-app/push notifications and, where relevant, email. You can manage notification permissions from your device settings.
14. Prohibited use
You may not use ServEaseHub to list services you don't actually provide, misrepresent your business, harass customers, or attempt to circumvent the platform's commission or contact-sharing protections.
15. Suspension & rejection
We may reject a new application, or suspend an active account, for policy violations, repeated red flags, unpaid wallet commission, or contact-sharing violations. You'll be notified of the reason.
16. Our role
ServEaseHub is a marketplace connecting you with customers. You operate as an independent business — we don't control how you perform a service — but we do facilitate escrow payments, review evidence in disputes, and enforce these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continuing to use ServEaseHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
